What’s a witch to do when she feels overwhelmed with the amount of research, practice, note-taking, list-making, and more practice required to master her craft? Start a blog, of course!

Hi, I’m Lucy. I’m a novice witch, and I’m writing this blog as a record of the things I learn. Think of it as my digital Book of Shadows. I’m hoping that by putting in the effort to make my thoughts accessible to others, it will help me absorb knowledge more deeply and make it a more innate part of my craft.

I would say my main interests are hearth magic, herbology, and astrology. However, I also want to explore the history of witchcraft around the world. I don’t follow a particular religion like Wicca, but I do have an interest in many Pagan deities, particularly within the Greek and Norse pantheons. Since I live in England, I also feel it’s important to research the historical beliefs and magical traditions of this land and how they influence modern witchcraft.

I have two cats, a garden in dire need of some love (perhaps a little green witch magic is in order), and a deep love for writing—I aspire to write a book someday. I also hope to travel to mystical places and take you along with me through my words.

I’d love to hear from fellow witches, whether you’re just starting out or have been practicing for years. Feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, or book recommendations in the comments—I’m always eager to learn from others and connect with like-minded souls.

May you join me on my witchcraft journey,

Blessed be.
